The tour starts at 6:30 am in the morning, driving from Istanbul to Gallipoli. During the road trip, we will be crossing along the northest shores of Marmara sea, giving you the opportunity to admire the beautiful views. Upon arrival, we will take a break for lunch. Gallipoli is a famous historic peninsula in Turkey! The Gallipoli Campaign was one of the Allies great disasters in World War One. It was carried out between 25th April 1915 and 9th January 1916 at the Gallipoli peninsula. There are many interesting sights all over the area, such as the Australian Lone Pine, a solitary tree in Gallipoli, which marked the site of the Battle of Lone Pine in 1915, Johnston’s Jolly cemetery, Chuck Bair and New Zealand Memorials.
After the end of the tour in Gallipoli, we will take the ferry to Dardanelles! Dardanelles, a famous strait connecting the Aegean Sea to the Sea of Marmara. At the Gallipoli campaign, Turkish troops trapped the Allies on the beaches of the Gallipoli peninsula! Last destination is Canakkale, the second city after Istanbul, to be situated on two continents. There we will spend a lovely evening. After dinner you can take a walk along the harbor, relax and enjoy new experiences (Overnight stay in Canakkale)
Early in the morning we will transfer you from Canakkale to Troy, so you can start the tour to take a tour. This is the city where the Trojan War took place, as described in the Greek Epic Iliad, one of the two epic poems attributed to Homer! Today is a famous archaeological site, with travellers from around the World! Troy was destroyed and rebuilt nine times! Till now, 10 cities have been discovered, one built on the top of the other, dating back to 3500 BC.
Our experienced guide will help you to get to know with the ancient Troy and all the great history that surrounds the city. You will learn all about the most iconic figures of the war, such as Helen, Achilles and Paris! The trojan war, the famous trojan horse, the Altars and the Houses of Troy, dating back to 2500 BC. At the end of the tour we will take a break for dinner and after that we will drive you to Kusadasi, along the wondeful Aegean Cost (Overnight stay in Kusadasi)
Today the tour starts at 9:30 in the morning, after breakfast. During the tour, we will visit the impressive temple of the Greek goddess Artemis, we will take a walk at the Celsus Library and admire the Temple of Hadrian which is one of the best preserved and most beautiful structures. Many more sights, such as the Agora, the Theater, the Odeon, the Trajan Fountain, the Domitianus Temple and the Roman Latrines, will amaze you! We will take a break for lunch and after that we will have the chance to visit the lovely Catholic shrine of Virgin Mary (Overnight stay in Kusadasi)
Our tour starts visiting the unique Pammukale! Pamukkale is a city which in Turkish literally means ”cotton castle”. You will understand why, when you arrive at the valley of Meander! The unique travertine small pools above the town were created when warm mineral water cooled and deposited calcium as it cascaded over the cliff edge. We will also visit Hierapolis which is a World Heritage Site! An ancient city which according to Stephanus of Byzantium was given this name because of the large number of temples it contained! Hierapolis became a healing centre where doctors used its’ thermal springs as a treatment for their patients. Your guide will lead you from the nothern to southern necropolis.
On the way, you will be able to admire and learn the history about this sacred city by exploring the Basilica theatre, the temple of Apollo, the Roman baths, St Phillip Martyrium and many other parts of the city. At the end of the tour we will drive you to Cappadocia, with a non smoking and fully air conditioned overnight bus, at around 21:00-22:00 (Duration 10 hours)
Upon arrival to Cappadocia, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and then we will start our tour to this extraordinary city! The tour begins at the amazing Devrent Valley, the perfect place to admire the famous fairy chimneys! We continue driving to Pasabag, the Monks Valley, to observe all these interesting mushroom shaped pinnacles! Afterwards we will take a break to have lunch at the city of Avanos. In the afternoon we will drive to Goreme Open-Air Museum, where are the incredible remains of the rock-hewn churches and Christian settlements which date back hundreds of years! Before we return to the hotel, we will visit the uncommon rocky Castle at Uchisar (Overnight stay in Cappadocia)
The excursion starts at 8:30 am. We will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to the Red Valley, in order to explore all the famous rock cut churches . Follows a 5km hike through the Gulludere valley. An unforgettable experience at an extraordinary place. Afterwards we will visit Cavusin village, a place famous for the houses and churches of the christian clergymen. The lunch will take place at the Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon we will visit an uncommon underground city, called Kaymakli. On the way back you can admire the natural castles at Ortahisar!
